GBM-4 and Agent Orange in Nam Vets

I promised Rudy that I would continue the fight after he was gone that Agent Orange caused GBM-4 Brain Cancer. He passed away on Dec. 10, 2011.
I'm compiling a list of as many Viet Nam Veterans that I can find that have been diagnosed with GBM-4 Brain Cancer. the list is growing slowly and wanted another avenue besides Face Book to get this information out there.

  1. I'm hoping to be able to keep up with this blog soon! Finding out that a few have won their claims, just haven't figured out how the rest of the wives can.

  2. You can add my father to the list. My dad served two tours in Vietnam and went into the jungle on numerous occasions. He was exposed to agent orange (AO) and was on their list of exposed vets. When he was diagnosed with a stage IV glio in April 2001, the first question he asked his VA doctor was if his exposure to AO was the cause. Of course the doctor said no. My dad didn't make it, succumbing to the disease 12 months later. How do we go about getting my mom her deserved pension.

  3. I spent a tour on the DMZ in Korea (1967-68) and two tours in the bush in Vietnam (1969-1971), as an infantry/radioman. My name is Morris "J" SAPP Jr. I ate , slept and lived in Agent orange for three (3) years. No one told me it was any problem, even when I asked why an area we were in looked a certain way. I was told nothing and not given a reason. I just stopped asking after a while. Now, I came down with a Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor Stage 4 and was operated on at McCormick Hospital. here in Chiang Mai, Thailand on Dec, 10, 2013.It came on so quickly I had no other chance but just get the brain tumor operation Here in Chiang Mai. I was in no condition to go to the States. I probably would have died trying to make it to back to a VA facility. I am a disabled veteran residing abroad. I mean, who has the money for a medevac. I don’t. I have had to pay these endless medical expenses out of my pocket, since I became ill. Being a disabled veteran I am uninsurable In the private insurance sector due to my service connected disabilities. No private insurer will sell veterans like me any medical/health insurance. Due to no fault of our own. The VA has denied the claim. As I said I have had to pay all of this out of my pocket; surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, which I am still undergoing. I guess I must have got this tumor in Central Park or the Bronx Zoo because according to the VA my claim is DENIED.

    1. Still searching for Nam Vets with GBM. Many people are coming forward now. Too many! Sad that we are losing our Nam Vets to GBM and the VA will not help us. Only a few have won their claims but the rest of us are being denied.
